About Ridgetop Electric

Twenty-three years in the trade taught us that a handshake still matters.

How This Started

I spent more than two decades working for local electrical contractors. Good companies, mostly. But somewhere in that time, I watched something shift. Jobs became numbers. Customers became callouts. The work was solid, but the relationship felt empty.

My wife and I talked about it a lot. Why not build something where the old way still worked? Where you show up on time because you said you would. Where you explain what needs fixing and what doesn't because the homeowner deserves to understand their own house. Where the price is fair because we're here for the long game, not the quick margin.

That's how Ridgetop Electric came to be. Not because we wanted to run a business. Because we wanted to do electrical work the way we knew it should be done. In Clark County, for people who deserve better than a contractor who treats them like a Wednesday afternoon.

'We built this so people could have a contractor they actually trust.'

— Owner, Ridgetop Electric

What We've Learned

A handshake means something. We say we'll be there at eight, we arrive at seven-fifty. We quote a job fairly, we don't pad it. When you ask a question, you get a straight answer, not a sales pitch. It takes longer to run a business this way. It also means customers call us back and tell their neighbors about us.

The right thing isn't always cheaper. But it's always worth it. We've turned down work that would have paid well but asked us to compromise on quality or honesty. We've redone jobs we thought could be better before handing them over. We've explained why a shortcut isn't worth it, even when the homeowner was tempted.

Building something for the future matters. My wife and I didn't start Ridgetop Electric just for ourselves. We wanted to create a workplace where skilled people wanted to stay, where they could grow, where they felt respected. That shapes every choice we make, from how we treat customers to how we invest in our team.

How We Work

When you call Ridgetop Electric, you're working with people who actually know the work. We handle everything from new home wiring and panel swaps to industrial installations, EV charging, generator hookups, and emergency service. We serve residential, commercial, and public works clients across Clark County.

You'll notice a few things. We ask questions before we quote. We walk you through what we found and why it matters. We respect your home and your time. And we price the work fairly because we want your trust more than we want this one check.
